Ryu Hayabusa is the lead character for the game that is Ninja Gaiden Sigma. As a well-known Super Ninja, Ryu leads a rather solitary life and you will feel rather lonely while playing the game, until that is, you meet up with either friend or foe?

There is one aspect and characteristic that Doku is best known for, and that is his undying allegiance and loyalty, to the holy Vigoor Emperor. This places Doku at odds, by proxy, with Ryu Hayabusa. To speak of this major antagonist in Ninja Gaiden Sigma, as anything but a thorn in Ryu’s side, is to be off the mark, so to speak. This is a bad dude and one that Ryu has to be aware of at all times.

He is the lord of the fiends and inasmuch as he is their leader, he is the one that instructs these evil doers, in whatever they do and that is to stop Ryu from his revenge quest! His weapon of choice is the dangerous and anciently cursed weapon, Kitetsu. One of the most interesting anatomical characteristics of Doku is his body. There is some type of blue spirit energy, which can be seen seeping through his terrifying mask.

Murai

The leader of the Shadow Clan, Murai is the one that informs and identifies to Ryu, the very attackers that destroyed his home village. The Vigoor Empire invaders wish Murai were dead as he alone, has the information that Ryu desires, in the identification of those responsible for the Hayabusa Village carnage.

Ayane

In Ninja Gaiden Sigma, there is one extremely beautiful and deadly to all evil doers, character. Ayane is that femme fatal and is a central assistor to Ryu Hayabusa. Ayane is a secret agent of Murai, and refers to Ryu Hayabusa as ‘Master Ryu’. A most important part and main espionage character, of Ryu’s mission, Ayane assists him from the shadows, gathering information for the Superb Ninja, with the art of secret espionage.

Doku has a powerful monster in his allegiance, and that is Alma. Doku created this hideous yet powerful demonic monster to help him destroy Ryu and all of those that dare to assist this lead protagonist.

Another friend to Ryu and one of the most important to the entire action game of Ninja Gaiden Sigma is The Dark Disciple. The true identity of this masked agent is not known but what is suspected is that he is the leader and controller of Gamov.

With his secretive black hat, darkened mask and the extra-long robe, coupled with a device-altered voice, this is one magnificent and exciting character! The main benefit, which The Dark Disciple has to Ryu and the adventure itself, is the Dark Dragon Blade. Once this powerful weapon is safely in the hands of the Dark Disciple, the advantage that is given to Ryu, is increased exponentially. The Dark Dragon Blade’s power increases as Ryu engages in battles with evil enemies!

Dressed in a green coat with a round hat and military sunglasses, Gamov is a spy dressed for success! Ryu first encounters Gamov in the seedy club called Han’s Bar. A very perceptive character, Gamov observes Ryu’s battle and learns a great deal about Rachel and the desired

Dark Dragon Blade. Gamov comes ready to fight with not one but two powerful double pistols.

Muramasa is an elderly blacksmith known for traveling all over the realm in his unending search for great weaponry. A weapons expert, Ryu notices this character trait and decides to align himself with Muramasa. This proves to be a wise and battle-tactful move as Ryu’s weaponry is strengthened as well as his health (Ki) from the association.

Muramasa is benefited as well from the partnership with Ryu as he is given essential essences that promote a better fighting ability for this friendly character. The storyline of the most popular, by far, ninja first person fighting game is intense indeed. For starters the story begins with the destruction of the main characters entire family and village. If that does not get the revenge mode juices flowing then we have no idea what on earth would! This is how hard and fast the Ninja Gaiden Sigma storyline comes out of the gate and it only gets better from there, at least for the main character and a couple dear friends.

To play the game that has been hailed as one of the finest creations, ever, for the PS3 gaming platform one has to be skilled in the far-eastern hidden art of the ninja. Or you can just play like you are and take on the role of Ryu Hayabusa. We feel that it is best to just play the game and forget about becoming a real live head-lopping interloper such as Ryu. In other words do not quit your day or night job.

When the dynamic duo that was Team Ninja and the parent development organization Tecmo got together to create a PS3 marvel they stuck to their guns and borrowed greatly from the original Gaiden storyline. Ninja Gaiden for NES: An Exercise In Difficulty

Ninja Gaiden has to be the hardest freaking game to ever come out for the NES.

I will always remember Ninja Gaiden for the NES for several different reasons. The first reason that I remember it is because it actually had cut scenes as part of the story line. Obviously, ever since the PS 1 came out, cut scenes aren’t exactly revolutionary. But to think that the prehistoric Nintendo Entertainment System was able to pull off cut scenes is very cool. Ninja Gaiden had a great soundtrack too. You could tell that tecmo really went all out for this game.

Now, the obvious reason I remember it so well, as does anybody that played it, is because it was you had to be a freak of nature to defeat it. Playing Ninja Gaiden actually gave my thumb blisters. I cannot make this any clearer: If you are not a hardcore gamer, ninja Gaiden will make you want to put your fist through the TV.

But difficulty aside, Tecmo made a heck of a game. It was a creative side scroller whose plot was about a son’s revenge over his father’s supposed death. You could do everything a Ninja could: You could climb walls, throw Chinese stars, do really cool karate moves.

The popularity of the original paved the way for a couple more sequels for the NES. The play control was way ahead of its time. It has to be probably one of the best non sports video games that Tecmo has ever made.

Ninja Blade Not Ninja Gaiden

The world is full of knock offs. Wii and the Vii, Mii and Avatars, iPhone and iNstinct. The true question is how good the second measures up to the first. Game developer From Software is developing a ninja action game called Ninja Blade which looks incredibly close to Ninja Gaiden.

When I first heard of the game I didn’t too much care because, how bad could a Ninja Gaiden clone be considering how good Ninja Gaiden is. Being a developer you pay close attention to the actual developer of a game more so than the title or game itself.

After a bit of research I found the developer to be From Software who worked on much of the Tenchu franchise and Armored Core series amongst other titles, none of these games being too top notch. The nail in the coffin came when a game by the title of Forever Kingdom surfaced on the list. This was one of the worst games I had ever played in my life that summer I worked at Six Flags when I was 16.

After finding that they were the developers of Forever Kingdom I am no longer sitting on the fence but in the opposing yard throwing rocks. As for now Ninja Blade itself would have to prove me wrong and nothing else because I refuse to believe after playing the monstrosity that was Forever Kingdom. I believe in second chances and anything could happen but I think Ninja Blade will be a lost cause when released.

There locations are not disclosed and you usually need to be accepted to attend, but information on their specifics can be found on the internet. These are excellent choices for learning both ninja training and modern day ninja lifestyle. The hands on immersion approach is hard to beat. Some camps have very flexible schedules and time frames in which you can attend. For instance there’s everything from weekend courses to 3 month long courses. Either way you will live at the camp for the duration of training.

2. Ninjitsu classes. These can be taken in a group/class atmosphere or one on one private training. These are not always the easiest to find, but be sure to check out local dojo’s, as sometimes outside instructors will be brought in to teach speciality disciplines. You can also post on a bulletin board requesting to learn privately. The only downfall with classes is the focus is often heavy on tradition and the more modern day ninja lifestyle aspects are not as heavily focused on.

3. Ninja At-Home Study. This is definitely an option and an excellent one to start out with. Today with the internet we have the luxury of learning and training skills on our own. Since ninja training can be hard to find and camps or classes may be too expensive or inconvenient, learning from an online e-book or online classes can be a very effective way to pursue your training. The big advantage with online books and courses is that there is emphasis on the modern day ninja lifestyle. That is, they teach how you can become a legitimate modern day ninja, and you can learn this right from your own home.
